Social Media Madness!

It’s no secret social media has changed our daily lifes but think of how dramatically it has changed the music industry itself! If you are not online promoting your music, you might as well call it quits now.

The problem is, how do you manage all these different social media networks when promoting your music online?

Seems like every couple weeks there’s a new Facebook or Twitter we need to be on and if we are not we should run into oncoming traffic because it’s music career suicide.

Really, as music artists (rappers, producers, ect.), we need to focus on what I call the big 5:

  • Facebook
  • Twitter
  • Instagram
  • LinkedIn
  • Google+

But I find that even managing those 5 can be a hassle when you put everything else we got to get done on top of that.

So what can we do to make our lifes easier when promoting our music online?

Hootsuite For Music

Hootsuite is a extremely valuable tool that allows individuals and businesses manage their different social media accounts all from one dashboard.

Say you need to post that new track you just dropped on iTunes. Instead of going from one social network to the next, logging in, typing, and all that jazz, you can instead type just 1 status and Hootsuite will automatically post your new song on all your social media accounts instantly!

This is truly powerful when you think about it – and that’s just the basic functions.

You can also schedule posts in advance that way you can be creating music in the studio and without you having to touch it you are building traffic to your new track, mixtape or album!

So go ahead and click here and try Hootsuite today free…you can thank me later 😉
